has anybody remarked that...as dollar goes down against gold it goes down against Euro as well...so the price of Bullion in Euro moves upward slowly than the price in Dollars...this upward movement is only due to one force...the increasing price of gold and not the declining price of dollar...so Euro for the time being can be a good inflation hedge...it is more liquid than gold and cheaper than gold too...
I live in Europe...and even a cursory comparison of Gold Price Evaluation in Euros and Dollars reveals this phenomenon...because we see two different up-slopes...so for those who want to have an inflation hedge and can't wait for the pull back because dollar is going down very rapidly...switch to Euros and the nbuy gold in Euros at the pullback... |
